Hi, my name is Maxi.
My work and my being are based on the values of truth, presence and love. I have been intensively studying Western and Eastern healing and contemplation theories for more than 10 years, without being committed to a particular school or tradition.
My curiosity and hunger for depth took me to a Zen Buddhist monestary in the Black Forest where I lived and worked among monks while meditating 5-7h every day. I started to bridge the worlds of meditation, martial arts, men's work, movement and art which led to the birthing of my very own style and flavour of holding space and facilitation. Other influences of my work are based on the theories of Carl G. Jung, Robert L. Moore, Michael A. Singer, Paramahansa Yogananda, Richard Rudd and David Deida, among others.
Today, I’m holding my own men’s circles and workshops, travel and facilitate experiences with the Men’s Work organization Sacred Sons around the world to create and hold safe spaces for men. In my podcast “going out|looking in” I interviewed over 70 thought leaders, spiritual teachers, healers and scientists on their insights around the human experience. I work and live in the southern tip of Bavaria, Germany next to Lake Chiemsee bordering the Austrian mountains.

„Maxi really sees one as a person and I don’t have the feeling he is just using some random frameworks or techniques. His meditation techniques are great. Also I like that he has an opinion and asks if it is ok to share it as he is challenging me and not a „yes man.“
things you need to know about me
I am not a healer or therapist.
~I create a safe space where you can realize yourself.
I have no answers.
~I have questions. You carry the answers within you.
I know that I know nothing.
~I am a seeker of truth and am constantly learning.

things I believe to be true and important
The way to heaven is down.
~Having both feet on the ground - physically, mentally, spiritually and metaphorically - is way more important than transcendence.
Darkness is light in disguise.
~The fact that we experience darkness doesn’t mean that the sun isn’t shining. We simply got the blinds down. My intention with any sort of this work is to help myself and others to facilitate the illumination of the darkness to the point of alchemy and expansion out of apparent misery and suffering.
The mind is great at creating problems. Not fixing them.
~Just like Einstein said, “no problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” - much of healing and integration happens outside of the mind and (mostly) in the body. It is my job to safely guide you there.
Commitment equals freedom.
~Contrary to common belief, I am convinced that 100% commitment to anything in life (relationships, work, craft, etc.) is a prerequisite for freedom. Through commitment, we focus our awareness and energy on a chosen matter, enabling us to become creatively, energetically, and spiritually free in a self-initiated area of existence (instead of a given one). Additionally, I view commitment as a singular energy. You're either committed or you're not; 99% commitment equals 1% commitment.
Masculinity is not toxic.
~Are there unconscious men who cause hurt and pain? Absolutely. Is Masculinity toxic? Absolutely not. Masculinity - just like Femininity - is one of the most beautiful energies of our universe. And just like all energies, Masculinity comes with shadow aspects. These need to be looked at and integrated.
Awakening is a series of softenings.
~It’s understandable to reactively close off, detach and disengage when experiencing resistance of any kind. In other words, it’s understandable to harden and armour up. However, the wise one shall see that resistance met with resistance rarely leads to any form of peace. Resistance met with softening is where true alchemy lies.
